Seeds of Success?

Narku walked out of the city and into a clearing. He got down on all fours and sniffed the ground trying to smell for any trace of plant pollen or scent to assist in finding suitable herbs. The scent of the many people that travel to and from the city was still too overpowering soo close to the city so he continued to head futher towards the forest.

Once the great gates where fair behind him, he was finaly able to use his senses to assist in finding what he wanted. He smiled to himself as he thought of the many times he did this for his family. He missed them every moment of his life. Allthough they would have passed from the curse of age by now, he still wished their time together was not cut so short.

He stood up and looked up at the sky. A single tear rolling down the side of his cheek. Are you proud? I will make something of this life... thats a promise

Narku then continued to gather his future crops.

After hours of harvesting Narku sat down his back resting against a large tree. He looked at what he had collected and was amazed at how many diffrent forms of plant life were around here. There were some that even he had not seen before.

He placed all the ones he knew in one sack and all the ones he didnt know in the other. Having sorted his plants he went back to a berry bush he had found earlier. After eating a few he realised that it would not satisfy his hunger, he wondered if would be able to catch anouther fish in the lake.

With this thought he stood up with his collection and made his way back to the city and then the lake district.
